Chervil, native to the Caucasus region bordering Europe and Asia, has been used in homeopathic medicine for centuries. It was introduced to Asia, North America, and other parts of the world and is now widely and easily cultivated herb plant. All of the parts of this herb plant can be used; roots, leaves and flowers. The leaves generally have the greatest use and can be eaten fresh or dried. Leaves and roots are steeped to make herbal tea and a decoction form its flowers, mixed into a poultice, is said to relieve joint pain and inflammation.
